The Inspired Wardrobe is all about relaxed, stylish, comfortable living and our ever growing and changing collection can take you from city to beach, and daytime to night. With that in mind, our collection is perfect for TRAVEL!

Did you know, June is Great Outdoors Month? We've listed 5 of Australia's top outdoor destinations. Perhaps there's something on this list that you haven't experienced yet - and with international travel restrictions still in place, there's been lots of talk about travelling within our own glorious country!

Let's start up north ... in the WARM!

Cape York, Queensland

the beautiful top end of Australia - Cape York

If you're into site-seeing and swimming and want to escape the winter chill down south, head to the top end of Australia to CAPE YORK, and drive along the historic Overland Telegraph Track (OTT).

Fish for Barramundi, take a ferry to Thursday Island in the Torres Strait, visit waterfalls, visit Lakefield National Park, and experience the remoteness of the northernmost point of Australia - it's truly AMAZING!!

NOW is the perfect time to visit the top end when it's DRY! (The wet season is December through April)

The Red Centre, Northern Territory

Australian outback in the Northern Territory - The Red Centre

This is one of Australia's famous tourist spots as it's often featured in movies, and also because of its massive colour-changing monolith - incredible natural phenomena!!!

The Red Centre is located in the southernmost end of the Northern Territory. Check out Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, the Kings Canyon with the tropical pools of the Garden of Eden, the Aboriginal art along the Tanami Track, the gorges of Watarrka National Park, and the Ranges in MacDonnell.

Take a camel trek through the Simpson Desert - something truly unique and unforgettable. Our Panther Print Jogger pants will be perfect for the occasion!

Let's go WEST ...

Ningaloo Marine Park, Western Australia

Top view of the Ningaloo Reef Marine Park in Western Australia

Did you know that Ningaloo Reef is one of the longest fringing barrier reefs in the world?? AWESOME - and it's located in Western Australia.

Ningaloo is a bit of a well-kept secret, not a lot of people visit, and less people mean it's a lot safer and not overcrowded!

According to Frommer's Ningaloo offers approximately 200 species of coral, close to 500 species of fish, whale sharks, whales, mantra rays, dolphins, turtles, and dugong (similar to manatees). Love to explore underwater with a snorkel and mask, or diving ... head west!

Let's go SOUTH!

12 Apostles, Victoria

12 Apostles in Victoria

We've seen The Twelve Apostles on the Great Ocean Road by ROAD (car) ... but my goodness, by air is on our bucket list!

The Twelve Apostles are a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of Port Campbell National Park, VIC. Their proximity to one another has made the site a popular tourist attraction, and if you're not afraid of heights, perhaps you can visit the 12 Apostles by air! The scenic view from above will blow your mind - we've been researching!!!

Get on a helicopter ride and discover how our rugged coastline was sculpted through the  blasting sensation of the wind and the pounding effects of surfing. Aside from a helicopter, you can also tour the beautiful coast in a Tiger Moth or a seaplane. VIC may be chilly in the winter months, but stunningly beautiful.

Travelling EAST ...

Blue Mountains, NSW

Abseiling or rappelling in the Blue Mountains National Park, NSW

Are you looking for a mountain adventure?? The Blue Mountains National Park is STUNNING!! Just outside of Sydney, it's one of the city's top day trips, and is famous for its abseiling or rappelling down the limestone cliffs and waterfalls experience.

You can also go canyoning, rock climbing, and mountain biking in the area - so something for everyone. The Blue Mountains is CHILLY at this time of year, so be prepared!

We haven't listed our home town of Byron Bay in this blog, because we're going to share what we LOVE about this area, what inspires the collections we curate, and the magic of the markets in a post very soon.
